TTASN 4: What They Don’t Realize, Part 2

For a Special Needs Family, there are certain things that you face on an ongoing basis that others don’t realize.

No matter how much other people care and support your family, there are ultimately going to be some things that they just can’t fully understand until they’ve actually been there.

In this episode, we continue our conversation about some of the things we’ve experienced that we had never even thought about before having Hunter. Things like:

  • The emotional side of things
  • The “gross” stuff
  • The paperwork and appointments
  • Concerns about the future
  • Sticking out/looking different
  • The love and affection

You have a story, too!

Do you have things you would add to or change about this list? Did you find anything we talked about surprising or informative?

If you have questions about raising special needs children, topic suggestions, or comments, we want to hear from you!
